Rapid Rites

by | Oct 8, 2008 | Poetically Correct

I’m as harmless
As the ‘Suess’
All language
Vague and loose
Not so tight
Nor succinct
Microcosmic
Dark instinct
That must rhyme
To retain
All that clogs
The Great Brain
Oh, fragile muscle
Cooperate with flow
The bloody heart rules
Of things that grow
Or shall you say “No”?
Rebellious pig pride
Only you can create
An opposing fat lie
Truth wins over
The sighing breath
That’s all that’s heard
In the space of Death.
