Dedication to Mrs. Hallahan: For her son, George

by | Sep 12, 2005 | Poetically Correct

If going home is an alcove of Peace

Then shed thy skin and Soul release

A body can fail but not our Love

The memories be like Noah’s Dove

And when we come to understand

Grief withdraws its crippled hand

When Life is burdened in the end

Death is known The Welcome Friend

Forever blessed for what you taught

Shine my Star, forget-you-not.
