Autumn Calls: Dedicated to “Oreo”

by | Aug 22, 2005 | Poetically Correct

Prolonging Death is hardly kind
When all is lost but for the mind
If you had been there to suffer long
You’d see that Medicine is truly wrong
The eyes of Love beg let me go
My dress fades glorious as you know
Cry but a moment then sigh relief
For I am free
the autumn leaf.
I spiral down
The breeze my friend
Back to the earth to rise again
I’ll be the robin, the sun and tree
The season claims my Destiny
This captive Soul may you release
Your understanding brings me Peace.
