Majority Rules

by | Jul 31, 2008 | Poetically Correct

What kind of Profession,
Spends years in a Session,
Bickering of inane digression
With no real progression,

Propaganda and Recession
Gives way for Depression
A fear instilled suppression
Of beleaguered oppression

I get the obvious impression
We lost freedom of expression.
In the act of concession
Wanting divine intercession

This now hissing compression
Battling material possession
Like an addictive obsession
Leading to our confession

Only We can stop this regression.
If we join the Civil Procession

As One People,
Under God,
Indivisible.
