Angels Go Crazy

Angels go crazy
It’s no surprise
Expected to start life
The moment it dies
Arms where once wings
Feet where were none
Halos taken up
By the burning Sun
Auras of friction
Humans despise
Fallen Empire
In darkened eyes
We tend to look up
Aware of our fall
Once Universal
Now terribly small
Quite insignificant
It is a notion to be
Cast in dead flesh
Like the Enemy
God lift Your wrath
Forgiveness ours too
Creation imperfect
Our sentence undo
We’re not of this world
Hear our cry now
We are ostracized beings
Of this broken vow
Petitioners we unite
Give up our possessions
Lift us on high
Excuse our digressions
We praise you and sing
Bow in your Name
Jehovah or Allah
The eternal flame.
